Air Quality Updates at JTOH

AIR QUALITY UPDATES .

Granville County Public Schools is committed to the safety and well-being of its students and staff.  All school facilities are being tested for air quality by an independent, certified laboratory.  The results of these tests are posted to the website below and any additional action steps will be communicated to all members of the school community.

On July 30, 2018, LRC laboratories conducted air quality tests at the JTOH campus.  All results indicated a normal indoor fungal ecology with the exception of one sample.  Remediation and retesting will occur in the affected area.  Below are links to the official reports and individual data for all samples taken.

Spring monitoring and testing has begun.  Below are the results from 4-22-18.  The air quality cleared, but some surface staining on HVAC pipe insulation is evident.  These areas will be cleaned and replaced this summer after students and staff have left.
